The 2017 Florida College Access and Success Summit

On May 10-11, Florida College Access Network (FCAN) hosted its annual summit at the B Resort and Spa in Orlando. The event’s theme, “Breaking Barriers,” explored how Florida educators and communities are working together to help students overcome obstacles on their path to completing a postsecondary education and embarking on a rewarding career.

The 2017 Florida College Access and Success Summit, presented by JP Morgan Chase & Co., offered a fantastic chance to network with colleagues, make connections, learn about new resources, and discuss policies and ideas to boost college access and success for all Floridians.

More than 250 people from multiple sectors — including business and community leaders, K-12 counselors and educators, college access practitioners, postsecondary administrators and more — attended last year’s two-day summit. The event was highlighted by more than 25 sessions and panels that featured input from students, members of the Florida Higher Education Coordinating Council, and much more.

Thank you for helping our last summit resounding success. We hope to see you all again soon!
