College Ready Florida is a series of four statewide initiatives aimed at supporting a college-going culture by helping students plan for their futures and navigate the college-going process. The initiatives, which focus on students at all grade levels and place special emphasis on low-income and first-generation college students, are:

Over 400 schools and 46 districts participated in at least one College Ready Florida initiative during the 2019 – 2020 school year. Registering with FCAN provides you with access to many free resources—including planning guides, “I applied” stickers, toolkits, and handouts—to help plan and implement the initiatives at your school or organization.

FCAN provides weekly encouragement via the College Ready Florida email roundup that shares tips, tools, and ideas from around the state. And quarterly affinity calls offer examples of how your peers are inspiring students and seeing results.

Do you know colleagues, including college access partners, who may also want easy access to the same free resources FCAN offers? Encourage them to register their school or organization.

FCAN thanks Helios Education Foundation and Wells Fargo for their generous support of the College Ready Florida initiatives.
