Destination: Graduation, a partnership between Heart of Florida United Way and Seminole State College will help at-risk college students access the resources they need to stay in school. The program leverages United Way’s 2-1-1 information hotline and support staff at Seminole State to connect eligible students to campus and community resources and monitors their progress. It also establishes persistence funds to provide an extra layer of financial assistance to low-income and veteran students. Both student groups show an increased risk of not completing their college educations due to non-academic reasons.

The project is administered by the Central Florida College Access Network, a regional partnership that aims to reduce barriers to postsecondary education, and is funded through a grant by Lumina Foundation.
