For Florida to build a strong, recession-proof economy, we believe all Floridians need education and training after high school and opportunities for lifelong learning.

Florida College Access Network (FCAN) created the degree attainment profile to serve as a convenient way for stakeholders to gain a clearer sense of where their communities stand in efforts to meet tomorrow’s workforce needs and achieve the state’s SAIL to 60 goal. In 2019, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed SAIL to 60 into law to help make Florida #1 in workforce education and the initiative aims to increase the percentage of Florida adults holding high-value postsecondary degrees, certificates, or training experiences to 60% by 2030.

FCAN is pleased to announce the release of new degree attainment profiles for all 67 Florida counties. The profiles feature six-year degree attainment trends, average wages by education/training level, and a summary of state and county-level attainment data.

FCAN has also developed degree attainment profiles for every local college access network (LCAN), which now collectively represent nearly 83% of Florida’s population. These regional networks are working collaboratively to increase college and career readiness, access, and attainment for students in their communities.
