Will your students need help filling out the form this fall?
The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) has announced the list of CGS!Florida (College Goal Sunday Florida) host sites for fall 2016. CGS!Florida is a statewide initiative that offers free, professional help with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This fall, over 20 CGS!Florida events will take place at high schools, colleges and universities across the state in October and November this year. Students and their families can attend CGS!Florida events to complete the FAFSA on-site and receive other helpful information regarding the college financial aid process.
In previous years, CGS!Florida offered help with the FAFSA in February, due to the annual start date of January 1 to fill out the form. This year, students can fill out the FAFSA starting October 1, three months earlier than before. We encourage you to help promote your local CGS!Florida host site and remind students and their parents of the early FAFSA start date this fall!
