What is the role of school counselors in helping students prepare for college and career?Learn how Florida school counselors are embracing the challenge to prepare all students for life after graduation and how community partners can support them. You will also learn about policies and other efforts to strengthen the role of school counselors in their schools.

Educational Ecosystems: A Community Model for Improving Student Success
In January 2013, a group of local school principals and School Advisory Council (SAC) members in Seminole, FL created the Seminole Community Educational Ecosystem to improve the success of its students. Learn about this community-led initiative’s various programs and how it transformed the relationship between 14 local schools including elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, St. Petersburg College and the Greater City of Seminole community.
