Students prosper when they have the knowledge and skills they need to be financially self-sufficient. It’s more important than ever to learn the basics of sound money management, responsible use of credit, and how to pay for college.

These lessons can be especially beneficial for high school students preparing for college, college students who are managing their own finances for the first time, recent graduates entering the workforce, and adult learners balancing their day jobs with their academic pursuits.

Please join Amy Bolick, FCAN’s community engagement and programs manager, and Mariana Ordaz, community support representative for Florida at Wells Fargo, for a webinar highlighting a free, web-based educational money management program. Hands on Banking, and its Spanish-language counterpart “El Futuro en tus Manos,” offer financial information, tools, and skills in an easy-to-understand, entertaining format.

In this session, you will learn:
• The ways Hands on Banking can help with budgeting, bank services, responsible use of credit, buying a home, investing, starting and managing a small business, and much more.
• An overview of the self-paced lessons that make learning quick and convenient.
• The resources that are available for classroom educators and counselors, with a focus on how to finance college.
