Don’t miss out on your opportunity to help students access the financial help they need to continue their education! Host a CGS!Florida site in your community!

CGS!Florida (College Goal Sunday Florida) is a statewide initiative coordinated by the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) to provide free, on-site, professional help to students and families completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Since students will be able to complete the 2017-18 FAFSA as early as October 1, 2016, CGS!Florida events will take place in October and November this year.Schools, postsecondary institutions, libraries and community organizations are encouraged to apply as a host site.

Host sites provide a time and place where students can receive step-by-step guidance completing the FAFSA, along with other helpful information on the financial aid process. Host sites make this a fun event to encourage families in their communities to come out and participate.

Interested institutions should apply now to be considered as a CGS!Florida host site. The deadline for submissions is August 19, 2016. Host sites will be notified of their selection by August 31, 2016.
