Florida CAN is seeking a Network Partnerships Manager and a Researcher to join our team!

Network Partnerships Manager: This person will manage activities to support local college access networks (LCANs) in Florida.  LCANs are strategic alliances of regional leaders and organizations representing multiple sectors that work collectively to boost college and career readiness, access and success in their communities for students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. Additionally, this position will serve as relationship manager with current and prospective strategic partners at the state and national levels. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in education, business/organizational leadership or a related field and at least three years professional experience (or commensurate graduate-level study) in organizational leadership, collaborative partnerships, collective impact, community engagement, nonprofit management, or similar experience. The successful candidate will have exceptional communications skills (oral and written) and a proven track record managing or supporting collaborative community initiatives. Salary range: $45,000  – $51,000.

Researcher: This person will be responsible for conducting research on data, policies and best practices that demonstrate promise to increase postsecondary readiness, access and success for student groups traditionally underrepresented in higher education. The Researcher will be responsible for synthesizing research and data from a variety of sources to produce policy briefs, reports, and other products for a broad, non-academic audience. The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree in education, higher education, public policy or other social science-related field. The successful candidate will also demonstrate exceptional writing skills, strong analytic reasoning, the ability to explain complex concepts to non-academic audiences, strong oral communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Salary range: $45,000 – $51,000.
