The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) has honored the Northeast Florida Military Veteran College Network with the Seven Seals Award.
ESGR is a Department of Defense Office dedicated to developing and strengthening supportive civilian work environments for Reserve Component Service Members. The Seven Seals Award recognizes outstanding individuals, organizational achievements or initiatives that advance ESGR’s mission.
The Northeast Florida Military Veteran College Network (NFMNCN) is the latest initiative launched by Earn Up, a local college access network serving the six-county region of Northeast Florida.
The network addresses the everyday barriers that prevent veterans and active service members from continuing their postsecondary educations by leveraging the support available at universities and colleges in the region. The initiative also seeks to connect veterans and active service members to military educational benefits, workforce training opportunities and more.
