The Florida Prepaid College Board has announced a scholarship giveaway to coincide with the open enrollment period for their popular Florida Prepaid College Plans. This fall, 10 lucky winners will receive 2-year Florida Prepaid Scholarships, a value worth 60 lower-division credit hours at any of Florida’s state colleges that can be applied to any college or university of the student’s choice. Florida Prepaid College Plans allow families to prepay, on a monthly or lump-sum basis, the future cost of college tuition, fees and other related expenses. Because payments for the plans are tax-free and locked in at today’s prices, families that take advantage of the program can save thousands of dollars in future tuition payments by the time their child is ready for college. This year’s enrollment period is open now through February 29, 2016.
To enter the Florida Prepaid scholarship giveaway, simply fill out the entry form on the Florida Prepaid Scholarship Program website. To be eligible for the sweepstakes, applicants must be Florida residents between the ages of newborn and 8th grade.
The giveaway will continue through November 15, 2015 and students have the opportunity to enter every single day to increase their chances of winning.
