Aimed at enhancing student success from preschool through higher education, the Central Florida Educational Ecosystem Database (CFEED) is a powerful tool for change that is unique to both Florida and the United States.

In FCAN’s November “Hot Topics” webinar, you will learn directly from the CFEED analytics team why the project got started, what’s happening today to improve college access and completion and what the future has in store for this impactful data-sharing collaborative.

Aligned with Florida’s legislative “Sail to 60” goal, CFEED aims to ensure that 60% of high school graduates earn a post-secondary credential. This target exceeds current achievement levels of 52.5% degree attainment rates.

To reach this milestone, CFEED partners with two central Florida school districts (Osceola and Orange), Valencia College and the University of Central Florida to interpret data on more than 600 variables affecting student success, outcomes and opportunities.

Creating meaning from the data – to inform decisions and improve interventions – is at the heart of CFEED, as the partnership strives to pinpoint opportunities to make a difference in a student’s journey from cradle to career. Powering the CFEED platform is technology which combines and analyzes multiple data from partner sources to deliver predictive insights and recommended actions. Today’s CFEED model includes a cloud-based data warehouse, a top-tier research team, an extensive portfolio of research, and established programs to implement complex student success interventions.

Come learn how CFEED is inspiring new ways to measure student readiness and close opportunity gaps across the PK-20 journey.
