A rural revival is happening!

An increase in remote job opportunities, quest for affordable housing and desire for a more laidback lifestyle are adding up to opportunity for our small towns.  But communities need to come together now to build education systems that lead to a strong, more sustainable economy.

The Education Design Lab is a national nonprofit that co-designs, prototypes and tests education-to-workforce models through a human-centered design process focused on learners’ experiences, addressing equity gaps in higher education, and connecting learners to economic mobility.

You’ll learn about pilot programs in five rural communities and the insights that surfaced from a 2021 brief that informed their design throughout the U.S. Also check out their new report, BRIDGES Rural Design Insights part 2:  Designing + Piloting a New Approach to Economic Agility in Rural Communities.

FCAN is proud to co-host this webinar with the Consortium of Florida Education FoundationsThis session will run 90 minutes to allow time for community examples and to answer your questions.
