Florida College Access Network is hiring! We are seeking a Deputy Director & Chief Policy Officer who will be responsible for advancing evidence-based policy solutions to improve college and career readiness, access, and completion for Florida students, especially students traditionally underrepresented in higher education.

This position holds primary responsibility for Florida College Access Network’s policy analysis and related research, external communications, and advocacy strategies. The position will also support FCAN’s executive director with operations management as the organization transitions to an independent nonprofit organization.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in public policy or a related field as well as knowledge of PK-20 policy issues and data, experience working in a legislative environment or with an advocacy organization, working knowledge of research methods, and experience with nonprofit operations.

FCAN is also seeking a Community Engagement & Programs Manager who will be primarily responsible for coordinating FCAN’s statewide initiatives while working in collaboration with FCAN partners to assess community needs.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in marketing, communications, education, counseling, English, or a related field, along with professional experience in program or campaign management, leading presentations and workshops, marketing strategy development, and coordinating asset creation with outside vendors.
