FCAN’s latest brief, Understanding Career and Technical Education (CTE), answers common CTE questions and expands on several CTE related topics including:

- Recommendations for improving CTE in Florida
CTE programs provide academic content and technical skills in current or emerging professions, while building pathways connecting to education and the workforce. According to most recent data, over 355,000 Florida public high school students were enrolled in a CTE program for the 2021-2022 school year.
This brief also clarifies the structure of CTE pathways in Florida and how students can utilize existing tools to further their education.
