Nominations are now open for the following categories:
1. College Ready Florida Innovator
2. Workforce Education Innovator
3. FAFSA Trailblazer
College Ready Florida Innovator
College Ready Florida is a series of four statewide initiatives – Apply Yourself Florida, Florida FAFSA Challenge, Florida College Decision Day, and Plan It Florida – aimed at supporting a college-going culture by helping students plan for their futures, navigate the college-going process, and access and complete a postsecondary education.
Are you, a colleague, or community organization going above and beyond to support students with their education after high school? How has the nominee utilized the College Ready Florida initiatives to help students:
- Apply to a college, university, or CTE program
- Complete the FAFSA
- Plan for an education after high school
- Celebrate postsecondary plans
Workforce Education Innovator
Career and technical programs provide academic content and technical skills for professions, while building pathways connecting to education and the workforce.
Are you, a colleague, community leader, or business going above and beyond to help Floridian’s access workforce training and education to achieve a rewarding career? Share how new strategies and opportunities are being exercised to strengthen workforce education in your community or business. How are non-academic barriers being addressed so students can complete a credential?
