HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR 2025-26 FAFSA TRAINING

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can provide various types of aid to support eligible students to pay for college with federal grants, loans, work study programs, as well as institutional aid. Completing the FAFSA increases seniors’ chances of enrolling in college by 84% (NCAN, 2024).

To ensure proper functionality and successful processing, the 2025-26 FAFSA underwent multiple testing periods before its official release.

This free webinar will provide high school counselors with information to help students and their families with the FAFSA, including updates on FAFSA changes, financial aid scenarios, and how to encourage FAFSA completion. Your guidance opens doors to education opportunities beyond high school, ensuring students stay on the path to success.
