For Florida to build a strong, recession-proof economy, all Floridians need education and training after high school and opportunities for lifelong learning.

A few years ago, FCAN created degree attainment profiles to serve as a convenient way for stakeholders to gain a clearer sense of where their communities stand in efforts to meet tomorrow’s workforce needs through increased postsecondary opportunities. FCAN is pleased to announce the release of new degree attainment profiles for all 67 Florida counties, now updated with 2019 Census data.

The profiles feature five-year degree attainment trends, average wages by education/training level, and a summary of state and county-level attainment data.

FCAN has also developed degree attainment profiles for each of the state’s local college access networks (LCANs), which now represent nearly 82% of Florida’s population. These regional networks are working collaboratively to increase college and career readiness, access, and attainment for students in their communities.
