The 2025 regular legislative session is scheduled to end on May 2, and thus far, leadership from the Governor down to Committee Chairs continue to reiterate a point of pride – Florida remains the #1 state for Higher Education in the U.S. News & World Report rankings.
Since Florida College Access Network (FCAN) released its session preview, the legislature has considered and moved various bills through the legislative process that stand to directly impact postsecondary students in their educational and workforce journey in the Sunshine State.
